I heard Scotland wins hands down (I've never been myself) but wondered if anyone else says differently. The picture attached is the Lake District.

  1. There isn’t just one.

Pembrokeshire Coast has some amazing places but so does Cornwall.

  2. Love the Hope Valley. Wandering up Cavedale, then up Mam Tor and over the ridges to Hope is a fantastic walk. Lots of great pubs too.

  3. From my point of view not in any order would be

The Lake District, Cairngorms National Park, the area between Fort Augustus & Oban and the Scottish Isles, Eryri National Park.

  4. On holiday last year we were taken to a place called Sanna Bay on the west coast of Scotland. It absolutely bucketed it down on us and I still thought it was the most beautiful place I had ever been to in my life.

  5. ‘Scotland’ is a huge area. I would personally choose the North West Highlands for the combination of barren moorland, mountains and sea, but the Lake District is completely different and very pretty.

  6. Specifically the drive on the A82 through Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands between Glencoe and Bridge Of Orchy.

  7. Hebrides for me. If not, Aberdeenshire or Oban and the West Coast – all Scotland.

  8. I like North West Wales and the coastline. The Lake District and the Highlands are beautiful too

  9. Llyn Peninsula.
    Edale Valley.
Lake District, but especially the Langdale Valley.
    Isle of Skye.

  10. Also Scotland as my favourite. But I’ll always have a soft spot for my home and the Cornish coastline.

  11. The Northumberland coast around Bamburgh and Lindisfarne.

  12. there are so many beautiful places. My faves is the outer Hebrides (all of the Scottish islands), Northumberland/Hadrian’s wall, Cornwall coast, the Dartmoor, Wye valley, North Wales, Offa’s dyke hiking, villages in the home counties, anywhere where there is remaining forest and old trees. The coastline nearly everywhere has beauty (except for the heavily industrialized bits)

  13. Scottish islands, especially Skye and Lewis/Harris. If we had Mediterranean weather in Scotland, the islands would be paradise.

  14. I think it’s the West Highlands, but the Pembrokeshire Coast is extremely underrated.

  15. North wales is stunning, lake and peak districts are also fantastic

  16. The part when you’re on the train to Scotland and you go past miles and miles of field and you wonder what the place is called by have no idea (maybe Carlisle?).

    That part.

  17. The Cornish and Jurassic coasts, as well as a lot of Anglesey.

  18. Snowdonia, spent a lot of time hiking there over the years, beautiful.

Also, any big forest. Doesn’t matter where, I just love being in a big, beautiful, forest 🥰

  19. Nowhere near me.

    There’s wild beasts.

    And witches.

    And Instagram doesn’t work here.

    Stay away.

  20. Mourne mountains driving to spelga dam from Kilkeel

  21. The most beautiful part of the UK, is without doubt, the location that brings you most peace and joy.
