Touchdown in Scotland as Donald Trump arrived to his first UK trip since returning to office. The visit comes as the US president is facing scrutiny over the handling of the Epstein files. And when interviewed by journalists on the tarmac, he expressed frustration over the questions. You make it a very big thing over something that’s not a big thing you should be talking about. During the 4-day trip, Trump is expected to meet with British Prime Minister Kier Stalmer, with whom he says he will be discussing a UK US trade deal. I like your Prime Minister. He will also be holding discussions with EU Commission President Ursula Vander Lion with the EU looking to clinch a trade deal that may result in baseline 15% tariffs for the block. Trump is also set to meet with Scotland’s first minister, John Swinny, who intends on using the visit as an opportunity to raise concerns over the war in Gaza. It’s crucial that Scotland is a country that is open for business that can attract international investment. But it’s also important that we use visits of this type to make sure that Scotland’s voice can be heard, whether that’s the situation in Ukraine or the tragedy that is going on in Gaza and the necessity of ending the suffering in Gaza. After traveling to his golf resort in the village of Turnbury, Trump will visit his other resort near Abedine, where he will open a new course dedicated to his Scottishborn mother. Scottish locals have an unfavorable opinion of the US president, and police are gearing up for protests.

  4. As a US taxpayer, I resent him using our money to visit his golf course. Yes, he knew Epstein intimately and allegedly partnered with him. So he knows alllll about Epstein.
