1. Any Briton stupid enough to hand themselves to the hostage takers of Iran deserves no sympathy. Utter fucking morons.

   Ironically this is the regime loved by Julian Assange, who whined about being imprisoned as a result of an actual crime.

2. I wonder if they’re actually spies or not. Either way though, no one deserves this kind of treatment. It’s terrible how normalized violence against prisoners is all around the world. : (

3. As a westerner travelling to countries isolated by the west you always roll the dice. Most do it unscathed but others are unlucky. People not prepared to face the risks should preferably choose different destinations than Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Russia and China.
