Sweden, once a climate action leader, now lags behind its peers in Europe. Last year, its fossil fuel emissions saw their biggest increase in 15 years. Sweden’s government swung to the right in its last general election and since then it has slashed investments in climate action.

    100 years ago, Sweden was the world’s poorest and lousiest country. It seems that they are on the way back again. The emigration rate is also very high – with is normal for dysfunctional countries.
