On July 27, 2024, Reuters reported, citing Malian insurgents, that Russian Africa Corps forces — largely composed of former Wagner mercenaries — suffered serious losses near the town of Tinzaouaten.
BBC sources later said between 20 and 50 Russian fighters were killed in the clash along the Mali-Algeria border. One former Wagner fighter claimed the real toll was at least 82.
Wagner channels blamed the defeat on a sandstorm that hit after a sweep operation in the area, during which Tuareg rebels reportedly launched a surprise counterattack. Graphic footage of captured and slain Russian fighters circulated online.
On Aug. 2, Tuareg groups claimed they had killed 84 Wagner mercenaries and 47 Malian troops.
They got negative KDA, even in Africa, but they got some kewl footage for the Russian nazis to upvote
I didn’t expect Wagner to do the „real fighting“ in their Africa campaign except for helicopter gunship strafes or the occasional armored assault.
I thought that they were pretty much in a supporting role or training African troops, not actively engaging them from a distance of 10 meters.
Compare this with French soldiers in Mali back in the days, you’d also wouldn’t expect them to gun down three militants from behind a tree.
Why are we censoring curse words in a video where 3 people are shot and killed

Did it not pique their interest when a shrub in the middle of CAR started cursing in Russian?
Is it just me or does his AK look to be cycling kinda slowly? Either way my man here is a stone cold professional. Idk about the average Russian troop, but this guy at least didn’t flinch when that return fire came. He knew they weren’t gonna hit shit and was able to keep believing it when it kicked off
