  2. I think it’s worth pointing out that Modi or senior members of the government haven’t said anything notable about Trump or his tariffs. The “buy local” thing is only notable by its timing, nothing else.

    Despite all the digital ink being spilt on this topic for the last few days, the fact that the government has kept a studied silence can mean they don’t quite have a plan of action yet.
