Iceland has brought proposals to North Ayrshire Council, seeking advertising consent for new signage at its High Street store.

If approved, the application would pave the way for three new branded signs to be mounted to the shopfront.

A further two projected boards would be place upon the building, with another to be added to the rear loading bay.

The shop windows would also boast a new look with the frozen food giant seeking permission to place eight vinyl graphic signs within the store windows.

This would create a fresh new look for the branch which has remained relatively unchanged over the years.

The application was brought to North Ayrshire Council earlier this week and is currently pending consideration.

Council planning officers currently estimate that a decision will be made on the proposal in early October.
