There were stickers all over my town going on about that “great replacement” theory bullshit, i rip down any i see. Its on the rise and it needs to be quelled. And the gardai don’t bother to investigate these incidents.
The worst part about this is they are making sure these people are isolated before attacking them. It’s a very upsetting thing to see.
I have coworkers who are Indian who’ve been directly affected by these attacks over the last year.

Remember let your TDs and councillors know that you are appalled by this and that the lack of legal detterents are a big driver of this behaviour. These gobshites need to fear the law again.
Just like the riots in Dublin, the Gardai and Court system have absolutely failed in tackling these thugs. When the UK had similar riots they identified and hauled the participants to court within weeks and sentenced them to lengthy prison terms. We only sentenced a handful of people for the Dublin riots and even then it took a full year for the sentencing.
This should be fairly open and shut. Identification is easy given they filmed it and then hit them with hate crime prison terms of 5-10 years. A few of those and the next thug will think twice.

What is happening here is awful, but I can’t help but say that I hate these auto-generated captions which completely mis-represent what people are saying. It’s actually worse than not having captions at all. It starts by saying “the little tacky” when we all know he didn’t say Tacky, he said a racial slur starting with P that I won’t repeat on Reddit.
The random censoring of sounds and and the constant “I will shoot you” at the end is just not at all what should be being spread, because it was not said and detracts from the actual awful acts happening.

There’s even [video of the taxi driver](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgZuiTB5leI) having been interviewed after that incident and it’s a completely different person.
It just feels a little off.
