  1. She just wants to have a controlled experiment set that she can observe first hand

  2. She earns more from this single rental each year than most full-time workers in the country

  3. She gave 4 months notice, better than they usually do. No doubt a renters bill hike though.

  4. Politician’s are not experts in how to run a society (Art degree anyone?), or people with great morals etc. They are people who want power. That’s it. And that’s who we have running our countries.

  5. 4 months notice, offer of a rolling contract, tenants CHOSE to leave.

Can’t see what the issue is here? faux Farage Outrage

  6. Not really sure what the issue is. The problem isn’t her but the failure to address the wider property market.

  7. MPs shouldn’t be allowed to be landlords, massive conflict of interest.

  8. Such a stupid own goal. Labour need to sit down and really have it hammered in that they need to be concerned with optics of stuff like this.

In this case, 2 bedroom apartments are renting in the Olympic Village at £3k per month, and this is a 4 bedroom townhouse at £4k per month. The rent increase isn’t completely unreasonable given that context, but it’s terrible, terrible politics.

  9. Poms can’t vote the right people in to save their lives

  10. So that is the job of the minister: To encourage homelessness

  11. So glad I didn’t vote for these assholes, inb4 “tOrIES anD REfoRm aRe nO bETter” just because I don’t support Labour doesn’t mean I support parties marginally right of Labour.
