  1. I wonder why. I hope Kate is doing OK and that her health isn’t getting bad.

  2. It’s not always a big deal, but it is more major this year because it’s the 80th anniversary (and quite probably going to be the last with a ‘0’ at the end that has living veterans

  3. He does not want to be king. It’s just that simple. He doesn’t believe in it.

  4. Surprise surprise, they want all the perks but no work ethic, BillyBoy could represent them both

  5. Its not a surprise, I’ve said it before but W&K seem to give even less shits then their earlier days, their kids school holidays means they’re not showing their faces

they’re also still immensely popular in the UK which gives them no incentive to actually change their behaviours but maybe people just don’t want to hear about the royals as much.

Sometimes they don’t announce their engagements until the day of (but in this case I have my doubts that’s the reason)

  6. They’re able to go on five vacations each summer but not show up to a two hour event where all they have to do is stand and smile.

  7. VJ Day isn’t commemorated the same way that D Day and VE Day are.

  8. If the vacations outnumber their appearances, at what point should the conversations start about paying their own bills? I don’t see why taxpayers should be paying for their 24 hour security for example.

  9. Wait do countries really celebrate VJ Day? Seems a bit tasteless…
