  1. well we’ll just have to stop reporting the weather that’ll solve the problem

  2. Does anyone know what they mean by this:

    >As Hazelton explained, parts of the Atlantic have been pretty dry and stable lately, and that can stop storms from forming, even when the rest of the conditions seem just right.

How can an ocean be dry? Or (un)stable – wouldn’t it be external forces like weather or earthquakes that disturbed it?

  3. As long as governments don’t buy back all those rich people’s houses by the ocean that’s good enough for me

  4. It’s only bad news for the people who don’t prepare. Living on the coast can be a death sentence if you’re ignorant and complacent. I’m referring to most of the residents on the gulf coast who still don’t believe that the climate is changing.

  5. Just bring down all those satellites that can monitor thise fake hurricanes, problem solved.

  6. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m so disappointed by humans that I cheer for natural disasters, and that’s really not like me at all.

  7. This is quite common in summer. It’s 2025 Hurricane Season now, and the surface temperature of the Gulf of Mexico reaches up to 30+ degrees Celsius every summer. Still no C5 until now, ready to have one.

  8. The Gulf of Mexico is primed for a big one. It’s a good thing I’m safe living near the gulf of America.

  9. Eewww.  More chemicals and precision industry could tell us what we’re doing wrong.  Where does the other 10 million species pee go into diverted channels, so to speak?  What if I eat a bug and choose to move onto the next cornfield?
