The OTB does nothing practically but will just result in a huge amount of damage to Ireland economically. We’re heavily reliant on the US for our economy and the reality is that Israel has significant influence there. We need to pick our battles

US companies here aren’t going to up and leave in 12 months, and Trump changes his decisions every two weeks anyway. Do the right thing and pass the bill.
Of course the government won’t do it, but the logical next step seems to be calling their bluff and putting proper sanctions on Israel if we do get added to the list. It’s what should have been done in the first place anyway.
