Girl Guides of Canada suspends U.S. trips amid border restrictions

3. I wouldn’t recommend anyone who is not a US citizen cross that border right now unless there is dire necessity.

12. My son (31) has Canadian friends that just came down to hike in Glacier National Park with him. I was worried about them going home, but luckily it went fine.

16. I didn’t realize Girl Guides ever made trips to the US. When I was a Guide and later a Pathfinder, we only ever did trips within Quebec and Ontario. I guess it depends on the troop.

18. Man at this point I think the world needs to come together and liberate the US from the god emperor trump and instill a proper ruling regime. 23. Oh stop! We (also canadian citizens) travel in and out of the USA frequently. With absolutely NO issues. Actually would say we get hassled more by the canadian border patrol the US lol

25. I still remember the days when travelling to Russia AND the US was absolutely no problem…. It was safe and both countries welcomed tourists and nobody hat to fear anything. This is all so sad.
