Is that drone immune to shotguns? Seemed like the last shot should have been a direct hit
I never thought all these years of duck hunting could became a useful skill in war lol
Did the shotgun jam? Seems like it failed to rack like 2-3 times…
Shitty time for a malfunction. Short stroked it and failed to eject?
He took time for taking the first shot – good
But then he panicked when he missed that and pressed the trigger while racking the gun, jamming it – bad
Edit – Also, full props to the drone operator for taking a last moment swing to the right and getting out of the firing line of the rider.
These guys need riot shields and like a net launcher. What a crazy depressing war.
Text on screen translates to cattle burial ground. Vatniks really are subhuman trash.
Some of the most wild footage I’ve ever seen
At this point they definitely need shotgun specialists on every fireteam who just practice skeet shooting all day long. Clay pigeons and shotgun shells are cheap as hell, these guys should be practicing until the sun goes down every single day.
Get a thing that shoots nets.
A net gun.
Wtf are they doing with pump shotguns and not semi autos?
BuT wHy DoNt ThEy CaRrY sHoTgUnS?!?
Lmfao, all the people acting like since they can shoot a 5mph clay pigeon they good to shoot a drone while moving in the back of a pickup.
Duck hunter here. This is totally different. Your shooting platform is moving – which might be why the shotgun jammed as he lost footing. We need to send them semiautomatic shotguns ASAP. And they need to practice skeet shooting while on a truck – very difficult skills to acquire.
Doesn’t look like he was a good enough shot
Well it shows those who thinks that guy with a shotgun will protect vehicles from FPV drone, in age of drones. Without active protection hard-kill systems combined with jammers any combat vehicle near frontline is to be destroyed in large scale war.
Im sure the malfunction was because it is a Turkish shotgun. Every Turkish pump ive shot is kinda ammo picky, and the shells it doesn’t like get kinda stuck in the chamber and take a lot of force to pump open.
Finally a video to show guys that, say “lets just get a shotgun” when you talk about how fiber optic drones are fucked and that jamming was the only bit of security one could have
Here’s to that one guy in the comments who’s always armchair soldiering, saying how they can avoid 80% of drone casualties just by arming them with shotguns.
Maybe he’ll move the goalposts and start specifying the type of shotgun.
I know it’s a tough shot to hit a moving target in the air from a moving platform, how much easier does it get with using some kind of scattershot?
Looked briefly like a TIE-Fighter when it was flying towards the soldier.
The second shot seemed nearly point blank. Hard to believe he missed.
RIP
It’s like a video game without the respawn. Insane these warriors are recording such gnarly scraps.
“pull”
If you’re just seeing this comment, another video exists from the drones POV. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, that video is getting downvoted, and people may not realize it exists. [Drone POV before impact](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/WOcCmuq3KF)
Woops
Yeah, all the guys in the back are looking for and shooting at drones, guy riding shotgun has mines duty.
