  1. They’re on the road. Better hire bikes than cars. Also why are people on this sub obsessed with posting pics of Lime bikes.

  2. Private company. Does not pay taxes like we do. Undermines our traffic and pedestrian laws. Seems to have greater freedoms to break the law than I do. Irresponsible foreign company

  3. These tech companies should be forced to pay for infortructure

  4. One of the many issues of Capitalism – the companies make all the money and we all deal with the consequences.

  5. So god damn fed up with these posts, this is what happens when they drop them off in a batch, they will naturally disperse as people use them

  6. What’s going on at that corner? Seems like the place to be!

  7. More bikes, less cars. The more they are used, and more problems like this persists the faster better infrastructure will be built. We need better cycle ways (safe for bikes and pedestrians) and we need less single occupants in cars

  8. Was in London today. Loving how car free the roads feel these days. Much rather have a few bikes over spilling some popular spots than gridlocked dirty traffic.

  9. This is 2 min from my house and makes life so much more convenient. I can reliably get a bike to cycle to work or park my bike on the way home to pick up my kids. I wouldn’t like this outside my home but this is on a street opposite a commercial food market. I don’t see the problem personally.

  10. Literally couldn’t walk on the footpath the other day at Oval because a game was on and there was just too many to fit. Hate to be pushed off to the road as a pedestrian because of these.

  11. It’s like you people see that colour and jsut go berserk

  12. More bikes means fewer cars, fitter people, better air.

  13. All things considered, they are quite neatly parked. And in the road. Lime bikes are well useful. Everyone uses them and they have massively benefited getting around London. Moaning about them has become a bit boring/cliche tbh

  14. Just wait until you hear how little cars on streets are used

  15. I can’t get over they didn’t just load these up on the pavement. That’s excellent.

Also corporate litter is a banger line 👏

  16. Must be nice to know you can probably always get a bike when needed.

  17. Brilliant – likely beside a busy pub or park where they’ll all be used to whisk people home , what the fuck is people’s problem with lime bikes? they make living in London so much better

  18. London Fields in the summer seems like exactly the place lots of people will want a bike from

  19. I’m a driver. What’s the issue with this? There’s hardly queues of traffic due to the bikes.

  20. Would you have made this post if there were like… what, 2 ubers parked there instead?

  21. Heartened by the comments on this. This is clearly better than the amount of cars that would be needed to get this many people around the city. OP needs to get over it.

  22. This is not the bikes fault. People make zero effort. As I was arriving with the bike a guy added his in front of the crossing, making it worst. So I told him exactly that and he pushed it. People do not address other incivilities so here we are

  23. I think being a bell end is one of the requirements to ride one of these green things.

  24. all i see are hundreds of bikes occupying the same space as maybe 4 cars

  25. I get that rental bikes can be convenient, but I really hate how they’re managed in London. Most riders seem to ignore the rules of the road and act like they’re exempt just because they’re on a bike. Then they just dump them anywhere. There needs to be a proper complaints process with real consequences, otherwise nothing will change.

  26. Honestly I am a huge cyclist but I HATE these do less trash bikes. Why should they get to take up so much public space for profit. People park them in shitty spots all the time, and they take up bike racks that real bikes could be using, ones that can actually be stolen.

  27. This is, in a very real way, taxpayer money subsiding a company. They didn’t pay for that road and pavement, we did. Why do they get to use it for their business?
