I’ll be honest, I’ve a soft spot for Don since his RTE drawing days. He was always a gent, but you got the impression that if you pulled out an axe, he’s be happy for the chance to deal with you 😀

Think I still have the drawings I done when our school took us on some trip where he had a class for kids. Real core memory doing those. What a gent

Had his How To Draw book as a small kid and years later saw him on my lunch break in work. I had a big smile on my face and actually said ‘Don Conroy’ out loud. He smiled back n said hello. I was buzzing for the rest of the day😀
