Leading global scholars sign letter urging UK to end Palestine Action ban

1. Destroying weapons of genocide should be rewarded, not villainized.

   UK and the West should stop siding with terrorists that destroy humanitarian aid intended for the people their government is KNOWINGLY starving. Shame!!!

2. It’s annoying when the news just takes their soundbites and doesn’t apply critical thought before quoting it. (I know quoting means it can’t be modified but they could clarify or quote with comments).

   Lisa Nandy seems to imply in her quote that Palestine Action wishes harm on British people. There’s no evidence of that, and I don’t believe there’s been any evidence shown that they’re anything other than a non-violent activist group. Her quote is simply there assuming we all will believe her without question, despite seeing the opposite.

   They advocate exercising our democratic rights in a peaceful and legitimate way, but continue to try and restrict individual privacy, and empower the state to decide in the moment what is legitimate or not. They could pass a law saying the sky is green, but that wouldn’t make it true, just like they can pass a law saying Palestine Action is a terrorist group.

3. This terrorist simping is gotta go. People are rewarded for praising terrorist and vilified for opposing them. This is a bizarro world.
