Prince Harry is set to visit the UK this September, and there’s a possibility he could have a meeting with King Charles.
While the proposed meeting appears to be just around the corner, plenty can unfold within a month’s time, with the Sussexes urged to watch what they say, even better, to not say anything before the meeting takes place.
Based on Eric Schiffer, a brand and reputation strategist, the chances of this meeting taking place “swing like a volatile pendulum” and “one Meghan quote could snap the cord and paralyze the process.”

Schiffer places focus on Meghan and that could be due to the Duchess maintaining an active social media presence.
It’s not only the Sussexes who factor into whether this meeting occurs, as palace aides also have a part to play, with Schiffer noting the “palace planners treat the date like a bomb squad exercise – wire, wrong boom,” meaning anything is possible, and the plans could easily change with one wrong move.
Earlier this year, we spoke to former royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner regarding Harry and the royal rift, asking how long it will go on with the now TV presenter, who focuses on the royals, saying: “As long as the palace wants it to.”
Mr. Pelham Turner explained: “I think, personally, that it’s the Palace behind all of this rhetoric that is coming from all of these so-called ‘close associates.'”.
The photographer-turned-TV commentator is hoping for the reconciliation to take place.
Royal fans are cheering for this meeting to take place
He said: “I don’t know what it is, I can’t put my finger on it, totally, I just feel, at the moment, Britain needs a united Royal Family where they represent all the different values and all the different citizens of the UK, that’s just my feeling.”
There appears to be a shift in the Palace’s stance towards communication, possibly due to the conclusion of Harry’s court case concerning security, which was a a major point of contention between him and Charles.

Jennie Bond, former BBC Royal Correspondent, discusses how the September summit came about and what the Sussexes can expect moving forward.
The Sussexes are urged to watch their words
Bond said: “One reason this might have happened is because Harry’s court case over his security arrangements has ended. The legal action was a point of serious contention between the King and the Prince.”
She further added: ” Trust is the vital and non-negotiable ingredient in every relationship within the tight-knit royal circle.”
