Help!!! Husband came across a baby bird. Not sure if it’s injured. It’s not flying, but appears to be upset (understandable so). Local vets are closed. What to do?

Get intouch with some Wild Vogel Retter [https://www.wildtierschutz-deutschland.de/verletztes-wildtier-gefunden](https://www.wildtierschutz-deutschland.de/verletztes-wildtier-gefunden)
Go to google maps and search for a NABU-Naturschutzstation near to you. You can give them a call or write them a message about your situation.
Ah yes and in case they don’t take him, I had something similar we found a Hawfinch it is fledging we ended up keeping Finchy Stark for 4 weeks I just kept feeding him and cleaning the tiny cage I got for for him everyday until he became stronger and the feathers filled in his tummy and then I set him free , he came back few days later and ate my redcurrant.
Really hope you find some help. We woke up to a tiny, tiny baby Mauersegler on our balcony a few years ago. We named him Alfred. Finding help was very rough, but we eventually found a couple who specialized in birds like him. My husband bought some bugs first, which apparently were what that bird should eat, then took the S-Bahn to an area super far to meet the rescue team, delivered Alfred, and the next day they already managed to release him and he flew.
someone correct me if Im wrong, but I think a fully feathered baby bird probably left the nest by choice (and is still learning to fly) and would still be fed by its parents on the ground, if there is no danger where you found it, it might be the best to put it back (or in case there is danger, put it in a slightly higher spot, where predators cant reach it)
the being upset is probably being hungry and calling for food

It’s a fledgling, just leave it alone. It hops around for a few days after it leaves the nest while it gets stronger, and hides in bushes. Mommy is still watching from nearby. Just put it back and keep neighbors cats away.
Should have likely left it where it was. At that age the parents will usually feed it outside of the nest as well.
Have you tried this one? https://www.facebook.com/groups/966124520122528/?ref=share
I advise getting in touch with professionals but if you can’t do it, here’s what my grandparents and parents did when encountering with a baby bird: Get a lemon, squeeze a bit into birds mouth. If possible, grate some bread, mix it with water in a syringe and feed it to it. My grandparents adored birds and took care of them most of their lives, I can’t link an online source to this method, proceed with care.
**Update**: we handed over the baby bird to a wildlife rescue. Shout-out to **Sanctuary & Wildlife Rescue Notkleintiere e.V. Wensickendorf** they were fantastic.
It is apparently a Mönchsgrasmücke.
They placed it in a bird in an incubator. I have a pic, but Reddit’s UI isn’t the best, so unable to upload it.
The person at the sanctuary tried feeding it worms, but it was weak and sleeping.
I’m sincerely hoping it makes a fast recovery.
Thank you so much for your help, each and everyone. Y’all are angels 🙏
