  6. This could be so embarrassing for Trump, if Putin basically demands Ukraine’s unconditional surrender Trump is going to look a bit stupid. Its why the leaders only ever come together once the pace has been agreed upon to sign on the dotted line.

    I really wish that people would understand this. According to Russia, [the US intelligence community](https://www.odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/reports-publications/reports-publications-2025/4058-2025-annual-threat-assessment) and several western experts, etc, Russia has the upper hand in the war of attrition. Time is on their side and they have very little reason to end the war. If the war continues along the current trajectory, the outcome is very easy to predict. But still, we’re just unable to act accordingly, and seem to still be stuck in the status quo mindset and are hoping for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

  44. It’s largely moot, but the funny thing about this for me is that Ukraine was perfectly willing to sign the stupid agreement with US when they knew full well that Trump will renege on it immediately and the terms are void.
