From August 11th to 16th, the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia will carry out the transfer of soldiers by air from its Ādaži military base to training grounds near Ventspils – so don’t be surprised if you notice increased militry air traffic.

“Residents of the Ventspils area may experience increased noise levels during this time, which will be associated with the takeoff and landing of Royal Canadian Air Force “Griffon” helicopters at the National Armed Forces training ground, where NATO Multinational Brigade soldiers, together with the National Armed Forces and other allies, will participate in shooting exercises,” said a release from the Latvian military.

The NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia cooperates with the National Armed Forces in conducting joint exercises.
