On Wednesday, Kensington Palace shared a playlist of seven new animated films produced by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The films explore the way that everyday interactions influence brain development for babies and small children.

As part of the film launch, new images of the Princess of Wales were released, showing her participating in a creative workshop with two of the illustrators who worked on the videos. In the images, she wears a green Veronica Beard jacket and trousers and a favorite pair of earrings from Cartier.

The earrings are part of Cartier’s Trinity range. The mixed-metal hoops (the “Classic Model”) are made of yellow, white, and rose gold. They retail for £3,050.

We first saw Catherine wear the earrings in January during a poignant visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she thanked the staff for the care she received when she was undergoing cancer treatment in 2024.

She’s also brought the earrings out multiple times this summer. Along with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood creative workshop, which took place in June, Kate wore the earrings for a visit to the RHS’s Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital in early July. On that occasion, she also wore a necklace set with her birthstone, a deep red garnet.

Most recently, we saw Catherine wear the earrings twice during the Wimbledon finals in July. Here, she wears them with a green Self-Portrait dress to present the trophies after the Ladies’ Singles Final on July 12.

And here, she wears them again the following day to watch the Gentlemen’s Singles Final on July 13. For this outing, she paired the earrings with a blue Roksanda dress and a gold necklace made by Daniella Draper.

The earrings aren’t the only Trinity jewels in the Princess’s jewelry box. She’s been wearing pieces from the Cartier line since her early days as Duchess of Cambridge. Here, she wears a sautoir-style necklace with a diamond-set Cartier Trinity pendant for a photographic exhibition featuring stars from the London 2012 Olympic Games.

She also owns the matching diamond-studded Trinity statement earrings. She wore them in June 2016 for SportsAid’s 40th anniversary dinner at Kensington Palace.

Several years ago, Kate also wore Cartier Trinity jewels in Paris: a necklace with a petite Trinity charm and matching earrings.
