  3. I wonder why i am stupid enough to pay 99€ a year for a safety GPS beacon when I could rely on Norway’s free rescue services instead….

  5. I’ve been in bad weather with fog and darkness up in the mountains, even if you know where you are and have a map, you can still get lost.

    This guy probably knew where he was, but others didn’t know his location. I’m glad they found him alive, I wasn’t convinced they were going to as days went by, so this was a very good outcome.

  10. I was following this from another post someone made looking for this man. I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The fact that he has been found is absolutely amazing. Det var utrolig heldig.

  11. The mountains are dangerous. A guy my dad knew fell to his death on a local mountain he had been hiking on a lot for about 50 years of his life. All it takes is one misstep.

  12. Im glad he was found , this highlights the importance of doing some of these hikes in pairs in case scenarios like this one. Never underestimate mother nature.
