  1. Not sure why people are violent and agressive with the health service.
Can we not get a law in to say that if you attack NHS workers you pay for your own fees?

  2. As a Postman I’m seeing a huge increase in people who threaten me or make me feel unsafe doing my job.

  3. Should be back of the queue for treatment for anyone guilty of this.

  4. Well these things shouldn’t and cannot continue to happen. We’ve been soft for too long. Time for political change.

  5. Unfortunately and totally unfairly, people are no longer believing mainstream media , so it has either made people more aware and self assured and confident in themself/ made people dangerously unaware following anyone who tells them anything online and also confident. It’s a tough time and I feel for you.

  6. In the past 5 years the hospital I work in had a full time security detail of about 5-8 guys stationed in A&E just to cope with all the potential mental health patients coming in causing problems and abusing staff.

In the past month, under Labour’s cuts, these have disappeared and body cams have been given to the already overworked and understafed sisters.

It’s a sad state of affairs that this obviously won’t stop any violence.

  7. Recently sent to A and E to get brain bleed checked via MRI. Extreme vertigo and wobbly vision.

That’s right. The only way to get to the regional stroke centre was through A and E.

Waited in a small area ( this is a huge hospital) not fit for purpose. Sent in and out of small rooms to do bloods, ECG.

Total- 6hrs. Scenes of Medieval misery. Very few trad A and E patients – eg cut hand. A few very ill elderly patients in complete agony waiting ages. Also, it is a major trauma centre, so ambulances turning up and ‘jumping the queue’ as it were. Big City Hospital, but the patients’ patience was amazing. No aggression but intolerable conditions.

A giant funnelling of everyone through a tight neck.

Eventually got into Stroke Unit. Spent 3 days there! Went through CT and MRI etc. Pretty worrying as it all took forever. No stroke. Inner ear virus.

I cost the NHS a lot of money and a bed. Ridiculous.

Every member of staff was wonderful- even the food was pretty good and buildings clean and modern. System? Hopeless.
