    Does Putin not realise he’s the Hitler in this war?

    • Bullshit casus belli for invading a neighbour. Mainly irredentist in nature. Denying the legitimacy of his neighbour ever having a nation state, and doing everything to destroy the national institutions and erase the culture from the earth.

    • Terror bombing the cities of the nation he can’t conquer.

    • Spends his time in a remote mountainous fortress or a bunker in the capital city of his homeland.

    • Has a vast network of internal/secret police to suppress any dissent. Often violently with harsh punishment.

    •Firmly controls the information (propaganda) that gets disseminated to his population, and denies any incoming information as enemy lies. Who’s his Goebbels?

    • His allies are poorly trained and provide only nominal support and assistance.

    There are hundreds of potentially feature length films in the heads of the heroes of Ukraine. Imagine the stories that could be told in books and films. Just the exploits of one helicopter crew would be an epic story (like Robert Masons tales in ‘Chickenhawk’). I hope that many survive to return to their families and have their story’s told.
