  1. A Nigerian man who sexually assaulted a young woman next to Bournemouth beach has avoided jail. Ayomide Famakinde, 23, was given a community order by the judge who said the offence was a ‘momentary aberration’ and that Famakinde had had a ‘difficult life’. The court heard how the defendant approached his 19-year-old victim late at night and put his hands down her jogging bottoms.

  2. And this is why Reform are winning.

Is it too much to ask that the courts hammer perverts?

  3. It’s almost by design. Our failed legal system.

  4. Here we go again with the “difficult life” justification. No, I’ve had a difficult life yet I’ve never sexually assaulted anybody. Every other Redditor has no doubt had a difficult life in some capacity yet they don’t sexual assault women.

These misogynistic judges need to be censured. Nicholas Haggan K.C. was the presiding judge who believes a girl being sexual assaulted, left crying on the floor is just a ‘momentary aberration.”

    You misogynistic prick.

  5. He had a difficult life……aw diddims.

Suppose it makes it fine for people from.war torn countries to.commot sexual.assaults?

    Country’s a joke man.

  6. This cannot go on. The current political class couldn’t care less.

  7. Smiling to himself, what a prick. Having a difficult life shouldn’t keep you out of prison for a deliberate, sick act. Unfortunately, courts are very quick to excuse these vile actions because… why? Why, is a question we all ask ourselves. Is it because they just don’t care? Do they support sexual assaulters? Do they personally relate to these people?

At the end of the day none of that matters. It’s the message they give off, ‘Yeah, go touch up teenagers, we don’t care. Sure, you might change the tragectory of their lives, but hey, we all have those urges sometimes! First time free :)’

    Horrific.

  8. So when he’s intoxicated he gets a pass but if a women is assaulted and drinks, she’s got herself to blame

  9. The uk justice system has to be run by some of the most incompetent cowards around!

  10. This kind of shit baffles me. If this “had a hard life” bollocks was applied to the rest of us. 90% of jails would be empty!!!

  11. Seems like this man grew up in South London. He’s a personal trainer. People in SE London need to be careful. PT is a role where he can have a lot of inappropriate contact with women if given the chance.

  12. I wonder why Reform are so popular…?

I can’t imagine the reason why at all.

  13. Surely this is going to put more terror into all women? He’s out and about. He’ll do it again.

  14. Can they appeal the sentence and try to get it increased? It certainly happens in some instances.

  15. ‘troubled background and difficult life’

Oh yeah? What about the victim??? Also, he shouldn’t be the UKs problem.

  16. Women are being sacrificed to a justice system that cares more about criminals then victims

We are one terror attack or muderer rape away from another southport but worse

  17. seems like every single judge in UK is aiding and abetting the criminals

  18. He will benefit from a community order, he’s matured since. What the actual fuck. Where’s the punishment ? Should be 2 years in jail and deported.

  19. Despite the obvious dismissive ruling here, it’s even more disrespectful how intoxication is an aggravating factor in sentencing guidelines, meaning that it should not go towards any sort of mitigation.

  20. There is seriously no point anymore to bother with reporting SA as a woman:

If you don’t report it: you’ll get therapy and in time you may move on. Nothing will happen to the offender.

If you report it: you’ll be dragged through the courts, treated like a wh0r3, humiliated by the defence and nothing will happen to the offender anyway.

  21. You guys better watch out, this is how you get your own version of Trump. People are only going to put up with this shit so long.

  22. He cannot help this behaviour. He should therefore be set free after the burdizzo is used.

  23. What a slap across the face this is to the victim.

Pathetic judge. Wonder if he’d had the same thoughts if it were his daughter.

  24. It’s time our judiciary was elected every five years
Instead of the old boy network
These so called judges are so out of touch with real life

  25. Reform will win the next election, Labour will get wiped out.
