Sarah Ferguson has shared a personal statement on International Youth Day as she celebrates “remarkable individuals” who are inspiring “hope for the future”. Her message comes at a time as explosive claims have been made in a new royal biography giving a startling insight into the private lives of the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

On Instagram, in a heartfelt post, Sarah recognised the global observance. She wrote: “Happy International Youth Day!
Over the years, I’ve seen first hand the brilliance and determination of young people all around the world.

“From classrooms to community projects, I’ve met so many remarkable individuals whose creativity, energy, and drive inpsire such hope for the future. Your actions, no matter how big or small they feel, truly make a difference. Today, we celebrate YOU!”

Alongside a carousel of images, Fergie shared her warm tribute to International Youth Day in the message to her 789,000 followers.

In the series of images shared, Fergie could be seen meeting children in what appeared to be various engagements around the world.

They showed her chatting by a campfire, receiving a bouquet of flowers, sharing a high five and speaking at an event in New York. Many of the images were sourced from the Duchess’s recent partnership with the Youth Impact Council.

The message comes as a forthcoming royal biography will be released on August 14. ‘Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York’ by royal author Andrew Lownie explores facets of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s lives.

This account, more than 450 pages, is said to have taken four years to research, involving hundreds of interviews. The description reads: “The book traces the lives of the late Queen’s second son and his ex-wife through their childhoods, courtship, marriage, divorce, careers, and royal and charitable activities.”

In one of the shocking revelations in the serialisation of the book, published in the Daily Mail, the late Prince Philip is claimed to have questioned Sarah Ferguson’s motives for marrying Prince Andrew.

A “well-connected” source of the author stated: “Fergie couldn’t stop talking – and inappropriately. She was all high jinks, jolly hockey sticks and practical jokes. Andy loved it, no one else did. The Queen said to someone, ‘Does that girl never stop talking!’ The Duke of Edinburgh just thought she was a girl on the make.”

Sarah Ferguson is also alleged to have sought out a romance with Tiger Woods after her divorce from Prince Andrew. According to the author, Fergie confided to Piers Morgan that she found the pro golfer “gorgeous” and flew 1,500 miles to meet him.

Mr Lownie further claims that the Duchess of York had a list of men whom she was keen to be romantically involved with after divorcing Prince Andrew in 1996.

Today, the Duchess of York, continues to live with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew in Royal Lodge, Windsor.
