China eases travel rules to boost tourism post-pandemic • FRANCE 24 English

The number of foreign visitors has rapidly increased since the pandemic, in part thanks to a visa-free policy. It’s really simple for Russians. Currently, citizens of 75 countries can travel to China without a visa for up to 30 days. Authorities are also financing or promoting the work of social media influencers who shine a light on Chinese travel destinations. This travel agency has had to hire a dozen extra guides who speak foreign languages just to cater to recent demand. We have seen a rise in customers, so our workload has also grown significantly. According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 27 million foreign tourists traveled to China last year. Still not the preandemic 32 million in 2019.

Citizens from 75 countries can now visit China with minimal paperwork. Some no longer need tourist visas for up to 30 days, while others enjoy longer, paperless transit options. This move is part of Beijing’s push to attract more foreign visitors and revive consumer spending after the pandemic.   1. No one should ever visit china. Social media like i show speed are paid to lie on behalf of the regime. And if you’re from certain countries they are likely to kidnap you for diplomacy. A complete pos. Dont go.
