  1. Is the tone finally shifting in the highest levels of governments in Europe?

  2. When Europeans travel or live in Islamic countries, they are expected to respect local customs, dress codes, and social norms, often under legal obligation. It’s therefore entirely reasonable to expect the same in Europe, those who choose to settle here should adapt to the cultural framework and values that define our societies Period! Now bring the downvotes

  3. At the end of the day, it’s their home, their rules. If you want a country to match your traditions, go live in one that already has them. Europe is beautiful the way it is, and it should stay that way no matter who comes.

  4. And to think Finland and Sweden used to be one country, now the Finns are openly discriminating against the Swedes 😞.

  5. This shit isn’t ironic tho, don’t you have a telegram channel where you can repost right wing shit with a single “Kinda obvious and based” comment to accompany it ?

  6. Is there a huge problem of burkas and niqabs in Finland or it’s just a typical populist propaganda tactic?

  7. Indoctrination of any kind has no place in school, highschool or college.

(Yeah, I understand the christian foundations in our society but you know what I mean)

  8. Pointless if you ask me. People aren’t going to change their behavior or culture.

  9. As someone who grew up in Berlin Kreuzberg, I’m certainly very used to and don’t have any issues with simple headscarves. That’s one religious freedom I can respect and is compatible with my ideals of a free society, but fully masquerading yourself to a point of no recognition – come on, that is just weird, and you can’t convince me that you’re doing it for yourself.

  10. She used to work as a lobbyist for a hydro power company. Was made the minister of the environment, immediately suggested that preservation of forests and swamps should be purely volutary (… especially in places where hydro power companies are looking to build reservoirs).

    Regular right-wing idiot.

  11. It’s a primitive tradition, but not neccerily harmful. I don’t see the issue in letting people choose headwear, let alone kids in school. Giving people the choice is always the better option.

  12. Hi! I’d like to add that burqas and niqabs are *cultural* garments, not *religious* ones. They are not mandated by Islam, anyone who does say so is wrong, and you are free to correct them.

  13. Just if you are pro the “freedom” of women covering their whole face you should allow balaclava and full face helmet too to anyone. Freedom to all

  14. Islamic or any religious coverings aren’t allowed in 99% of the belgian schools

So that means we are based aswell ?

  15. Well, someone wake me up when we start noticing that women and girls are no longer leaving the house because they aren’t allowed to wear the religious garments they choose to wear for their faith.

This is a great way to get girls to stay home from school.

  16. Burkas and Niqabs are allowed in public places in your countries?

  17. i don’t think covering the face is suitable for society in large. if you want to do that, maybe move to a country where that is common practice… like sweden.

  18. I wore a Burka to school and had all sorts of horrible things shouted at me.

    “You look ridiculous”

    “Why are you even here”

“You’re not even Muslim, you’re white”

    “Pedo”

    “We’re calling the police”

  19. Once again France leading the way womp womp

(Burkas and niqab are banned in public and hijabs in public schools)

  20. In the UK, she’d already be in prison for hate speech

  21. Amateurs. We already banned minarets and burkas completely, not just in schools.
