Im playing Skyrim again as an illusion mage, underrated build
I’m waiting for BF6 to come back tomorrow, so I’m currently playing Marvel’s Midnight Suns. It didn’t really gain any traction at launch, but I’m enjoying it.
Still waiting for news on Light No Fire. Otherwise it’s still Minecraft
Playing OSRS whilst working. The good life.
Going to play some rocksmith soon, just watching some old videos of Neil LeVang, Roy Clark & Chet Atkins for breakfast.
Been enjoying the loop of **Abiotic Factor** with 2 of my buddies. It’s just like old half life with modern day survival crafting, so far the story has actually been very enjoyable and coherent which is rare in survival crafter’s.
But I’m mostly looking forward to the **Helldivers 2** Xbox release, I’ve been diving since day one on PC but my brother has been wanting to play something with me and he’s Xbox only. 26th August will be a fine day for democracy!
You’ve just reminded me that I keep meaning to purchase Jeff Minter’s **Polybius** for the PlayStation. For whatever reason I failed to add it to my library back when it was a PS Plus free game many years ago. I don’t think it’s ever been discounted since but I generally like Minter’s schtick when it comes to shooters.
Actual play-wise it’s all been on the Switch 2. I’ve been flitting between **Tears of The Kingdom**, **Disco Elysium** and **Mario Kart World**.
Oldschool RuneScape while Afking 9-5 employment.
Nothing in this heat, to be honest. But when it settles again, back to The Finals.
Started Wuchang: Fallen Feathers the other day. Very reminiscent of OG Dark Souls – slower, more deliberate combat, and the level design and enemy variety so far are both really good.
Travelling today after work so picked up Is This Game Trying To Kill Me?, which I’m hoping will fill the Inscryption-shaped hole in my life.
This week i’ve mostly been flying an experimental plane in Microsoft flight sim. It’s called a Darkstar and does Mach 10. I’ve had it to the ceiling in the game at 275,000 feet. I’ve calculated that at Mach 10 i can fly around the world in 1 hour and 25 minutes. This will be my next project. I’ve also been playing Farming Sim 25 which is absolutely excellent. I played Farming Sim 22 for years so this is a nice progression. I helped a few new PS plus players with DAYZ too. I have over 1500 hours in that game and like helping out new players with the games mechanics.
got back into clash royale with some work buddies lmao. merge tactics is super fun
I’m back in Elite dangerous again doing some space trucking with the release of the new Panther clipper MKII to make some extra cash and then I really need to try combat.
Tried playing Lies Of P as it was “free” on PSN but it was incredibly boring and I just couldn’t enjoy the gameplay either. So I went and picked up Battlefield 2042 for £8 from CEX. Enjoying it even though it got horrendous reception at launch.
another crabs treasure! what a fantastic, fun and charming game.
side note the last few months ive been working on a greybox unity project, a 2d roguelite boss rush hack&slash roguelite. hopefully this doesn’t fizzle out as im having a lot of fun working on it.
Project Zomboid, just started and really enjoying it but its not for the faint hearted gamer, one mistake and you are people pâté. Already gone through 15 new characters. Will report back when I can survive longer than 10 minutes.
Yank friend of mine convinced me to play World of Warcraft with himself and his group the other week. “It’s fine.” I said to myself, “His friends never massively interact with me, and much as I love him, he’s a bit flaky, so I’ll just buy a subscription and create a character on a US server that I’ll barely touch.”
Reader, I was right about one half.
As to the other one, I now have a subscription and the newest expansion on my old EU realm. Warcraft truly never releases you from it’s claws.
As usual I’ve got caught up in the Battlefield 6 hype so ive been giving BF2042 a go since it’s free on PS Plus.
Its actually pretty decent and even though I’m terrible at online FPS I can still contribute via reviving, resupplying and spotting.
Also it turns out I’m not a bad sniper!
I don’t wish the new player experience was a bit smoother though as after a “practice match” you’re basically thrown into it, and ive no idea what half of the gadgets or gizmos do.
Also I wish people worked a bit more as a team, I’m always trying to give orders when I’m squad leader but it seems most people would rather ignore orders and rush off to die alone
Polytopia on my phone. Dungeon Keeper 2 on my laptop.
I’m playing Factorio with my brother who’s never played and we are both having a blast. I’ve also picked up Warframe after 2ish years and apart from going out and shooting stuff I have no idea what I’m doing with the other aspects of the game, let alone builds.
I’m also thinking of picking up Yield! Fall of Rome as it looks good, I like Civ and Hexarchy coupled with the fairly fast game time .
Trying Grounded 2 at the moment. Seems ok but I don’t know how long it will keep me entertained. I’m in a real gaming rut and can’t seem to find a game to hook me.
Last game that I sank hours into without realising was Expedition 33. Such a great game.
Nothings hit the same since
Star Citizen – it’s come a long way, baby.
Back in deep with Old School Runescape. Man this game, nothing else like it.
Just played a bit of Crime Scene Cleaner. I did get 100% but they released more achievements so going back to get those. I did miss a few bits on a level so went back to get them but it’s got mannequins that just randomly appear which scares me a bit so, gonna come back to it later.
Just started LoZ Link’s Awakening on the GBC emulator on switch.
I still have a working gameboy mini with working cart for this game but as we’re away atm and I have access to the switch – it’s so much easier to save status and redo boss fights.
Thoroughly enjoying it, getting further than I ever did on the gameboy
Conquering the Warhammer World as Skaven in Total War
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has taken up a lot of my time recently, running about at night drunk af picking random locks in Kuttenberg is very fun.
Fallout 4
Prey! I got recently dropped blue pince, fantastic game but the rng combined with puzzles got really frustrating really fast
Still chugging through Yakuza 6. Finished the Clan Creator content in chapter 5 now, so I’m ready to move on with the story.
Still on my journey to get the platinum trophies for all the mainline Final Fantasy games. Got I, II and III, and currently working my way through IV (controversial opinion, but IV is one of my least favourites – I can absolutely appreciate it was revolutionary in its day, but it’s so linear it doesn’t do much for me compared to others like V).
Started a second playthrough of BG3 over the weekend, doing a half elf bard this time, way different experience to the gnome monk I played first time around. Loving the stacked charisma that’s carrying me through every conversation.
I’m also getting the itch for another playthrough of Hogwarts Legacy, so I may be starting that sometime soon.
40k Rogue Trader, I’m so deep into the game and it’s making me sad because I know I don’t have long to go
2nd playthrough of Bloodborne and loving every second 💪🏼
