Ben Shapiro famously said “facts don’t care about your feelings” and the same applies to this situation. The fact is crime is at a 20 year low in DC. Can it be better? Of course but let’s stop with the yellow journalism and the “if it bleeds it leads” narratives. We don’t let that fly when the left does it so we can’t let it fly when the right does it. Otherwise we would have to believe that most police are hunting down and killing unarmed black people on a regular basis because they have a few anecdotal stories that shows that even though the stats prove otherwise.
