I think it was mostly pish after he left. Lost its edge.
Oh – it definitely suffered after he left! And this is from an Englishman!
He’s very good on here comes the guillotine. His accent is weird as fuck now. It’s like the Glasgow uni accent.
Shite patter
Just a normal day in Bathganistan
It ran it’s course and ran out of steam. I don’t think he was essential at all
Boyle lost it when he boomeranged to some sort of neutered beta male character to rake in the BBC loot.
I suppose he knows his audience.
I stopped watching Mock the Week when Frankie left, I stopped watching Nevermind the Buzzcocks when Amstell left, and I stopped watching QI when Stephen Fry left.
I gave all these shows a chance after their respective stars all moved on, but I just couldn’t vibe with any of them.
But that is 100% subjective, it’s just my opinion, but I would say that some people in life really are the glue holding a thing together.
I stopped watching when he left. He was the best part of the show and, the were all great.
I enjoyed it after he left but I will say wasn’t the same, so yeah suffered, even if I did enjoy it still
That Mel Gibson joke was shit.
He used to be funny, now he just assumes people will laugh to his wokeness.
Frankie Boyle was good on MtW, but it was very clear that his act was being toned down for the TV audience. His stand up was a lot harsher than this, which makes me think that he gave the lawyers and directors a huge headache every taping.
