LIM KIM has officially signed with Universal Music Korea (UMK), setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in her genre-defying career.
Known for her signature vocals and fearless artistry, LIM KIM (formerly of duo Togeworl) has carved out a singular path in Korea’s music and cultural landscape. From chart-topping solo debut A Voice and breakout hit ‘All Right’, to her reinvention with 2019’s GENERASIAN, LIM KIM has consistently pushed boundaries — blending electronic, hip-hop, and experimental influences into a sound all her own.
Her work has earned critical acclaim, including Best Dance Electronic Album and Song at the 17th Korean Music Awards. In 2023, her tracks ‘YELLOW’ and ‘YO-SOUL’ were featured on Street Woman Fighter 2, with choreography by 1MILLION Dance Studio — who also collaborated on her 2024 single ‘ULT (궁)’.
Outside of music, LIM KIM continues to make waves as a fashion and beauty icon, fronting campaigns for HERA, appearing in COSMOPOLITAN and Singles, and attending high-profile events by DIOR, Samsung BESPOKE, and more.
“I’m excited to embark on a new chapter with Universal Music,” LIM KIM shared. “I look forward to sharing music that resonates deeply, crafted with my own unique voice and rhythm.”
Calvin Wong, CEO of Universal Music Group Southeast Asia and Korea, added: “LIM KIM has always brought a fresh perspective to the music scene with her unique voice and creative flair. We’re thrilled to collaborate with her on the next chapter of her artistic journey, in Korea and beyond.”
This signing strengthens UMK’s eclectic lineup, which includes DEAN, HEYOON, Okasian, and Bryan Chase.
