A UFC Fight Night at the White House is coming in 2026.
UFC president Dana White announced this week that the fight night at the White House is 100 percent happening. He’s excited for President Trump and Co. to host a major UFC event in Washington, D.C. next year.

“It’s absolutely going to happen,” White told The Associated Press. “Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS.”
But one prominent UFC fighter doesn’t appear to be interested in participating in the Fight Night at the White House in 2026.

Defending UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall (15-3) has been mentioned as a possible opponent for legendary fighter Jon Jones (28-1, 1 NC) at the UFC White House Event in 2026.

However, Aspinall has made it clear that he has no interest in participating.
“Mate, it’s just boring. So boring. I don’t even have a comment,” Aspinall said.
“It’s boring as hell,” he continued.
“Don’t want to talk about it. I’ve got a fight already, so that’s my focus. It’s how I manage things mentally. It’s spent zero seconds in my head. Not interested, mate. Not interested. The world shouldn’t care either, pointless.”

However, he further elaborated, suggesting that he isn’t actually “not interested,” though he’s not jumping at the opportunity.
“The White House card doesn’t not interest me, but it doesn’t really grab me, to be honest. I’ll fight anywhere, doesn’t bother me.”
He added: “It’d be a cool experience, but I think Americans should get the shot at the White House. I’m not American. Trump and the political stuff in America don’t really concern me, to be honest.”

It’ll be interesting to see who ends up on the card in 2026.
