The morning for cycling ultramarathoner Arvis Sprude started with an interview on Kurzemes Radio. He is accompanied by rapper Ozols, as they are both collaborating in this charity event. The aim is to support the elderly and their needs. The ‘Be an example – around Latvia’ section is already open on ‘Ziedot.lv’.
The trip will end this weekend in Kuldīga during the Identitāte Festival. Its musical section will include a concert by rapper Ozola with gospel choir, and part of the proceeds will contribute to the charity’s cause on the donation platform.
The rapper said: “If we can somehow help some of the people in need with our music or our sport or our activities, I think it’s just a good thing.”
Arvis Sprude has many successes in cycling ultramarathons. He has also taken part in several charity campaigns, such as ‘High Five!’. With his brand ‘Be an example!’ he has also organised them himself, supporting both oncology patients and schoolchildren.
Anyone interested can follow his journey virtually. The Team Arvis Facebook page will be updated daily with a link to the ride. But the athlete will be happy if anyone joins him for a section of the ride at any point.
