Every time Latvia and Lithuania face each other, they don’t disappoint both in basketball excitement and sportsmanship.
Today’s friendly game on the road to FIBA EuroBasket 2025 didn’t disappoint, as the two teams prolonged the matchup until overtime, where Lithuania prevailed 109-105.
Rokas Jokubaitis was crucial for the Lithuanian national team, finishing with 20 points and 7 assists, followed by Jonas Valanciunas (16 points) and Deividas Sirvydis (15 points).
On Latvia’s side, Rihards Lomazs (27 points and 8 assists) and Kristaps Porzingis (22 points) weren’t enough.
