Three first-half goals inspired New Zealand to victory against hosts Samoa in the final of the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship.

Goals from Lania Fili, captain Amelia Hitchcock and Isla Robson gave New Zealand a 3-0 win, and their seventh title at the Oceania tournament.

At the end of the tournament, the third-placed New Caledonia team swept the individual awards for the eight-team tournament.
