1. I was listening to Henry Winkler’s autobiography, and he mentioned that he had a sit down with Ron when he found out that the executives wanted to do that. He told them in no uncertain terms that he would not support that or do that to his friend. Henry always seemed like a standup guy.

2. Its insane how big and popular Fonzie was. America went nuts for him.

3. I’m a huge fan of the “coolest guy ever” to “affable Jewish grandpa” pipeline that Henry Winkler and Elliott Gould have gone through.

4. Spoiler alert, he still left the show… Left at the end of season 7. The show went on until season 11. Which is crazy when you think about the fact that Fonzie jumped the shark back in season 5, episode 3!

5. Same thing happened with the classic show 2 Scoops. Billy just had to be put above the main star.
