The Fossil Fuel Cartel saw the massive growth of Renewable Energy, hybrids and EV’s cutting into its hegemony and bought flooded the government with Dark Money. The ONLY way they can stop the progress is with Federal Government restrictions and stops and they know it.

    Now think about how much of our Military Industrial Complex is focused on Oil/Gas “actions”. Why the Peace dividend alone could trim down the National debt substantially.
