1. Yup without them lebanon would be similar to West Bank thanks to israel continuously being the aggressors/invaders/land occupiers, its foolish for the lebanese government to try to dismantle them

   Edit: I don’t care what you call a terrorist organisation if in the same breath you see israel doing actual regional terrorism and you just shrug

   Facts remain, hezbullah is who kicked out israelies from lebanon, and to this day since they decided not to anything and let the lebanese government handle it, the lebanese government allowed israel to bomb them every other day and even build military outpost ON LEBANESE LAND

   And what does the lebanese government do? They flex inwardly at who protected them instead of stopping who is actually attacking them and is occupying their land, let’s not forget about shabba farms.

   They are literally threatening civil war, and somehow you’re interpreting that as protecting Lebanon?! That makes no sense

4. We finally have a government with some balls to exert it’s authority and not be scared of getting assassinated by hezbollah or their syrian dictator in the assad family

9. Hezbollah had so much potential, I worked with them before and they had good hearts but they weren’t the smartest. They shouldn’t have started war with Israel. They should have focused on keeping Lebanon safe from Isis instead.

11. It sounds like the government needs to cozy up to a power real quick. And Israel is already okay with destroying Hezbollah so… If anything they would love to help getting a thorn out of both their sides. Although assumedly if that happened, Hezbollah would start using the same HAMAS tactics of hiding among civilians to increase death tolls and get international condemnation for fighting terrorism.
