Angel Piqueras secured his third win of the season as he led a 1-2 finish for the FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSi squad.
For the first time since the Qatar Grand Prix, Angel Piqueras was back on the top step of the rostrum as the Spaniard took victory in the Austrian Grand Prix after some tense final laps around the Red Bull Ring.
Ryusei Yamanaka was able to complete a FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSi 1-2 as the Japanese rider secured the best finish of his career.
David Munoz has been on the podium at the last four Grands Prix as the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider crossed the line in third place after fighting through the field.
Moto3 rookie, Maximo Quiles, looked like he would dominate the Grand Prix, but he slipped back through the order as he struggled with track limits but held on to fourth.
The Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, silently went about his race and was able to secure crucial Championship points with a fifth place.
The top Honda rider in the Austrian Grand Prix was the Honda Team Asia rider of Taiyo Furusato who challenged for the podium but finished in sixth place.
Off the back of the lead group was the Moto3 veteran of Dennis Foggia who finished in seventh place on the CFMoto Aspar Team machine.
Valentin Perrone led the Grand Prix at points and was in the fight for the podium, but could not stick at the front and dropped to eighth.
Adrian Fernandez was the second Honda rider inside the top ten as he finished in ninth place on the Leopard Racing Honda.
Completing the top ten was the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Moto3 rookie of Guido Pini.
Scott Ogden was the top British rider, and he was able to claim a point as he finished in 15th place. Eddie O’Shea was outside the points as he crossed the line in 21st place.
Replacement rider, Casey O’Gorman, made his Moto3 debut at the Red Bull Ring and ended his first race in 18th place.
