What’s the point of the post, are we supposed to feel sympathy for this monster?
Fuck her
I used to do that job…forensic psychiatry…checking to see if they’re still breathing every fifteen minutes and writing “still breathing” on their chart.
Not the best job I ever had…kinda put me off working in mental health to be honest…
It is only a matter of time before all of the details/the truth is revealed.
Lucy Letby blew the whistle several times and was basically ignored.
I personally believe Lucy Letby is innocent.
I think in 10 years or so she’ll be stood on the Court of Appeal steps.
something not right about this case and that expert witness , wouldnt be the first time cops got it wrong
She will be on what’s called an “acct” this is a folder that is given to prison officers if the prisoner has self harmed or threatened to hurt themselves….they have to keep a record of all her movements and who shes talking to.
I’m confused by this case. On one hand it seemed a slam dunk that she’s guilty and justice was done.
But as is often the case, the internet conspiracy theories started. The conspiracy theory has grown to such an alarming level I’m wondering if there’s truth to it. I really don’t know what to think.
And no, I haven’t done my own research. I’m a busy trying to juggle full time employment, a wife and two kids and a golf habit. I don’t have time do actual research. (Sitting on the toilet reading is NOT research).
Can anyone help me work out fact from bullshit?
After watching the documentary her conviction is really dodgy.
Shame they couldn’t do that for all the babies she killed
I don’t pretend to understand the evidence and I won’t rush to “pick a side” because I genuinely am unqualified to understand it. Idk why people felt a rush to go full bat for either side tbh. I found it weird how adamant people were straightaway for either when most of them weren’t experts as well.
As a former NHS worker I believe the deaths were caused by negligence / lack of care, higher ups who would of been held liable shat their pants and pinned the blame on Lucy. I think the chances are extremely slim she’s guilty of what they’ve charged her with.
If she’s innocent how do they explain the insulin, air in bloodstream, air and liquid in stomach, etc?
To this day her whole case baffles me. I have never worked in the nhs, but i have had various dealings with it inpatient and outpatient for mental health, and i cant deny that for the most part it is a shitshow. I’ve always grown up believing that the nhs just didn’t really fund mental health very well, and other things were better. Then the illusion was shattered a bit when my mums friend got breast cancer and had to wait nearly a month to start treatment. I do admittedly live in an area with one of the worst nhs trusts in the country though, and we are quite a ways from Cheshire. I’ve never used any kind of nhs service in cheshire, so no idea how good or bad it is up there. I feel like this being down to nhs mismanagement is unlikely, but maybe I’m too optimistic for my own good.
My main thing though, is that lucy letby just really does not seem like the type of person who would do this. For lack of a better term, she seems like a very basic, boring person. I won’t deny I’ve seen a lot of mean girl nurses, and it wouldn’t shock me if she was one, but there’s a pretty big line between mean girl and out and out murderer, and the mean girl nurses generally target young chronically ill people, or the mentally ill – people they regard as timewasters. They normally seem to have a lot of time and respect for the elderly, physically ill, and babies. This whole case is so weird to me. I know that as far as the law is concerned she did it, but i still personally don’t feel satisfied. What was even her motive??
Is she even guilty? Wasn’t she found guilty by statistics and not actually motive?
Long before people started publicly putting their heads above the parapet the legal professionals in my social circle were saying this conviction looked unsafe.
Lucy Letby is innocent
Ask any NHS nurse , if they’ve seen a person die or been involved in a death ,how many of them would have routinely written , I killed them , I am bad , I deserve to die , I killed them , I killed them on purpose , or checked up on they’re family online on a regular basis .
I’m not a brain surgeon or psychiatrist but I’d say minus a million NHS nurses would write these things .
Way too many coincidences, 40x more likely to see a breathing tube come out of a ventilated baby when she’s on shift [from data], levels of insulin that are impossible to find in a baby unless injected – she’s guilty [and actually is guilty post trial]. The cover up is people who should have ended her career in the NHS didn’t and the evidence is eventually going to expose their incompetence and lack of management ability.
Stop the checks
