It is lashing out at the world’s leading energy organization for saying oil and gas use will start declining as the world pivots to cleaner energy. Trump’s energy secretary, has called the projections of peak oil ‘nonsensical’.

  1. This current “administration” is nonsensical in nearly every measure of the word.

    There is no version of the “drill baby drill” strategy that makes sense. Either they are driving the price below the recovery costs or they are using up the easiest to recover oil, leaving a future liability to dramatically increase the costs in the future energy, while leaving the US vulnerable. The destruction of renewables compounds their pathetic strategy; higher energy costs will cripple the US economy in the near future.

  4. IMF estimates subsidies to fossil fuel companies at 757 billion in the current budget.

    I suspect if there were no more fossil fuels a lot of people would stop feeding off the bucket of tax money in the system.
