Of course not. Check more than one listing before you start drawing conclusions!
That one is crazy though. Must be a mistake by the host, or they’ve set the price high temporarily to keep people from contacting them. Or maybe it’s for the entire rental period?
That’s not real.
Or if it is, these people need a reality check.
For that size, you may be looking at 20K+, but certainly not 66K
Somewhere between 500-800 dollars a month depending on location etc. is normal. Maybe it’s per year?
Which site is this?
[Finn.no](http://Finn.no) is the go to, this seems weird, wrong or a wrongful single room in maybe 6+ person shared flat. It’s often a mess trying to sort the single person/couple apartments from the 2+ bedroom apartments.
By renting a room in an apartment rather than renting a full appartment. “Rom i kollektiv” might be a helpfull search term.
If you would have checked more than one listing you would have found out that no this is not the norm.
Would studenthousing be an option? I lived at Fantoft a few years ago and paid +-5000NOK a month for my own room and bathroom. Not sure how much it would be today, but Sammen, the studenthousing organisation has a lot of apartments in Bergen.
I may be stating the obvious, but if you want a cheap place, look for a “hybel” (shared appartment).
That *must* be a mistake. Even renting an entire house – in a top area – wouldn’t be that expensive.
I know people who have lived at Fantoft. Some liked it, others hated it. Bit of a mixed bag, I think.

There is also student housing.
Looks like a yearly price.
Check out [Finn.no](http://Finn.no) or [Hybel.no](http://Hybel.no) for housing if [Sammen](https://sammen.no/en/bolig) can’t help you
