I have been intrigued over the years as to the whereabouts of the 'Asda Price Promise' stones that appeared outside every supermarket in the UK. These were around in the late 90s.

Here is an image of one in a store

There is a little blog asking about its location (link), but with ASDA's head offices saying they do not know the locations, I am intrigued to know if anyone remembers these. Apparently there's one on the side of the road somewhere in the UK.

Are there any still around?

  1. Shit I remember those huge rocks. Must have cost a fortune

  2. I suspect they’re in the same place all the plastic cows and chickens went to

  3. Those looked a lot bigger when I was a wee girl but I suppose that’s because I was a wee girl!
