Tragedy in Belgium: Albanian owner of a cafe shot dead by tenant

A serious incident occurred on Sunday evening in the Itterbeek neighborhood of Anderlecht, Belgium. A 61-year-old Albanian, owner of the “Maison Haute” cafe, was shot dead by his tenant at around 20:30 p.m.
Witnesses reported at least four shots fired at the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, but did not survive. Authorities have arrested the suspected perpetrator and have ruled out drug trafficking for now, stressing that the cause may have been a personal conflict.
The community was left shocked, while the victim’s friends describe him as a good person and always willing to help.
