    Israel has made it clear they aren’t particularly concerned with the hostages anymore. Especially with less than half of the remaining ones being alive.

  6. Hamas will get nothing if they don’t show good faith and release the rest of the hostages. Losing sides do not get to set the terms. Israel is quite obviously not going to agree to this, it’s just another publicity stunt to make them look bad.

  8. 263 deaths of malnutrition since the start of the war. Oh this must be the greatest famine on the face of the Earth. All these “experts” should be shamed and imprisoned for life.

  9. It’s worth noting that Hamas has only agreed to releasing 10 of the 20 Oct 7th hostages. While it’s good that they’re coming home, there’s 10 more people that need to be rescued from Hamas. It might not be a great idea to accept this deal on Israel’s part.

  10. Some of Israel’s biggest critics also want a 2 State solution and an end to the war completely.

    Thats not unreasonable by any stretch. If it gets the hostage back, then Israel should do it then leave Gaza permanently.

    The U.N and all these other countries who are critical of Israel can then work out how to get Hamas out of Gaza to ensure they have no part in the two-state solution they want.

    Hamas then becomes their problem, not Israels problem.

  11. Doesn’t mean anything, they’ve agreed to many proposals before. The issue is that they are dealing with a genocidal race-supremacist illegal occupation.

  12. If this was really about Hamas, then why does Israel insist on ripping apart the West Bank as well? Just seems like hostages or no hostages, the plan is already in place to expel the people of Gaza into the Sinai or the also war torn South Sudan. Then the West Bank will be on the menu.

    Lose-lose situation for all civilians involved.

    Israel is not interested in peace but in piece of Gaza and West Bank.
