Many years ago, Denmark was featured in a South Park episode about “fighting trolls” using a supercomputer. Given things like Palantir and Denmark being a big supporter of chat control, I can’t help myself but to probably say it is pretty prophetic?

    FTFY.

  2. It is pretty fitting considering the goody two shoes political stances of our country

  3. I know exactly zero people that want chat control

But awareness is also real low on the subject, so it seems another issue that’ll just get snuck into our lives

  4. En junker red ved juletid

    Tjing tjang tjing lutillej

    Omkring ham dalede sneen hvid

    Tjing tjang tjing lutillej

Han stred sig frem i regn og blæst –
Med ét, der segnede hans hest!

    Tjing tjang lu

    Tjing tjang lu

    Tjing tjang tjing lutillej

  5. It’s pretty accurate except instead of doing a fundraiser they just pass the laws without talking about it and naturally the politicians exclude themselves from the privacy breach and just to make it extra obvious it’s not about the children our biggest party recently had a pedo in it and he wouldn’t have been part of the mass surveillance because “wE CaRe So MucH aBoUt ThE ChIlDreN”

…except when it comes to politician pedos.

    They are fine appearently.

  6. It is more of a recurrence than a prophecy. The Danish government has wanted more tight control over telecommunications for many years going on decades at this point.

  7. Chatcontrol is a disgrace to our alleged ‘democracy’. The fact that it is even considered in the first place should say what we need to know about the people elected to be ‘in charge’.

  8. I gotta know who the Dane in staff was who picked a Pyrus song as background music. Because I don’t see people googling their way to that.
