As we get closer to the school year, one Greenville business is donating thousands of school supplies to a local elementary school.
At South Greenville Elementary, students and staff will be returning to school on Monday with brand new supplies to start the year.
Pencils, crayons, notebooks, and many other school supplies. That’s what staff at South Greenville Elementary saw when they opened the boxes delivered by West Shore Home, a home remodeling business.
West Shore Home General Manager Jesse Sutton says donations like this can be crucial for families with children in school.
The less fortunate or people that just aren’t able to get these kinds of things, and we just want to provide a little bit of relief for their parents.
In total, Sutton says they collected over nine thousand items for South Greenville Elementary.
Sutton tells us every single donation was made by the 47 employees at the Greenville Branch.
