Russia launched 85 attack drones and a ballistic missile at Ukraine overnight, Kyiv said Saturday (August 15), hours after Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held their Alaska talks. Moscow also claimed advances in the east of the country, continuing its on-the-ground attacks and advances ahead and after the talks.

  8. Ukraine is winning!!!!!! Meanwhile Russia gains territory kilometer by kilometer every day. And BILLIONS if not a trillion dollars of " support " has only helped kill more Russians…BUT NOT STOP THE SLOW CAPTURE OF UKRAINES TERRITORY. Russia like every Nation in combat replaces lost men and equipment… BUT…Ukraine cannot replace lost territory.

  27. Putin and Zelensky have long experience in negotiations, their negotiations skills were demonstrated in minsk years ago, they can negotiate under pressure.
    Numerous wars in the region, last civil war was during zelensky presidency, the residents of the region are not negotiating and will probably have another civil war in few decades regardless of the russia/ukraine state control line

Meanwhile, Russia lost dozens of men at oil refineries over the last week and lost 20% plus of their fuel supply for the military and citizens, fuel in Russia has doubled in price before these last attacks and will more than quadruple in the coming weeks, especially if Ukraine continues over the next 3 weeks taking out another 40% plus of there refining capacity, easily done if Ukraine continues doing what they have been, and is suspect another spiderweb operation, this time from ships in the norths sea that bombard russias biggest refinery and export infrastructure.. It might be the biggest attack on russia ever, with the biggest refinery taken off line in a matter of minutes.
